Terrarium Class with Eva March 1st

30% OFF Camellias!

If you're visiting the nursery, you'll notice our camellias are putting on a show! We carry a wide variety to choose from, and they are all 30% off for a limited time only. Our full Camellia list for 2025 can be found here. Need some planting tips? Camellias are easiest to grow in part shade (think the north side of a home), but they also thrive in sun. Use a generous planting hole and backfill with compost or soil conditioner. Pay close attention to their water needs while they establish.

This Month at WSN

Growing Gardeners Club

This month, Growing Gardeners Club members will receive a tillandsia, also known as an air plant! These unique plants don’t need soil to grow—they absorb water and nutrients through their leaves from the air around them. How cool is that?

Tillandsias are super easy to care for and can thrive in all sorts of creative places, from driftwood to seashells. They’re a perfect way to add a touch of green to any space! More information can be found here.

Northwest Flower and Garden Festival

The Northwest Flower & Garden Festival is not selling physical tickets this year, but you can purchase a ticket online here. The festival is held at the Seattle Convention Center from February 19 - 23. You can expect over 20 display gardens, more than 115 sessions and other learning activities, and thousands of treasures in the garden marketplace! West Seattle Nursery is a proud sponsor for the Northwest Flower & Garden Festival.
