Pest Watch: European Chafer

If you’ve noticed crows, raccoons, or squirrels tearing up your lawn lately, you’re not alone. These animals aren’t just causing chaos for fun, they’re on a mission to find food. One likely culprit is the European chafer grub. Fortunately, West Seattle Nursery sells live beneficial nematodes in the Garden Center, which can help reduce grub populations naturally. Dazzling Deciduous Conifers

Spring is showing off, and so are our deciduous conifers! Larix are leafing out and coning up, and the cones emerging on our blue Douglas firs, Pusch Norway spruce, and Mac's gold white spruce are bursting with vibrant pink-red colors. With spring just around the corner, it’s the perfect time to get outside, enjoy the fresh air, and spot some feathered friends. Seed-Grown Species Rhodies & Azaleas

Seed-grown species rhododendrons and azaleas from Chimacum Woods have arrived! Since these rhododendrons and azaleas are grown from seed, they are harder to come by.
