Trees, Shrubs, Perennials and Annuals

It is our goal at West Seattle Nursery and Garden Center to offer an abundant selection of trees, shrubs, perennials and annuals for the urban landscape.  Our buyers are always on the lookout for beautiful, rare and unusual selections and we work with growers all over the west coast and the Pacific Northwest to provide healthy, acclimatized plants that are suitable for Puget Sound gardens.

Our nursery space is organized into sections for trees with subsections for Japanese Maples, fruit trees, flowering trees, and conifers; for shrubs with subsections for deciduous and broad leaf evergreens.  We have an extensive groundcover section featuring perennial groundcovers and evergreen, groundcover shrubs.  Our perennials and annuals are kept in the front with the sun lovers on the south side and the shade lovers on the north side under the shade structure.

At West Seattle Nursery we think variety is the spice of life so we feature special sections of our grounds dedicated to Native Plants, Tropical Plants and Water Plants.  We wish to inspire people to garden creatively so we build displays of plants that will work well together in the same soil focusing on eye catching color and texture contrasts.
