West Seattle Nursery & Garden Center is a big proponent of starting early when it comes to gardening – start early in the season, early in the day and early in life. We began the Growing Gardeners Club to inspire young people to start gardening with their families, keep gardening with their friends and someday pass their love of gardening and gardening experience on to their children and other young people in their lives.
Throughout each year we publish a bi-monthly Growing Gardeners Newsletter for our members and feature a different complimentary garden related gift. All kids ages 4 through 12 are eligible to join. Just come in and ask for a Growing Gardeners Club punch card. Visit us each month with your card to punch and receive your newsletter and gift. Once all the months of the year are punched on your card, we’ll give you a new one and you can start all over again.
Each Growing Gardeners Newsletter topic is meant to be informative, educational and fun. If you have ideas for the newsletter or wish to write an issue yourself you may send your submissions to:
